Tests positive for bakelite with semichrome, my first reaction was carved wood, but looking with the loupe the beads appear to be carved bakelite, and do make the clack sound and test positive with the semichrome, measures 18 3/4″L, weighs over 34 grams, looks to be in very nice vintage condition, barrel clasp in good working order and brass spacer beads.
